In order to configure the Payment Terminal for QuickBooks POS for processing with a PAX terminal, you must navigate within QuickBooks POS to "I want to..." > "PT-EMV Settings".

From here, you will need to select the following options:

• Check the Using EMV Processing box.
• Set Comm Type to "SSL".
• Set Time Out to  "-1".
• Set Dest IP to the PAX's current IP address (See article Configuring PAX Terminal for processing to find or configure the IP Address for the terminal).
• Set Dest Port to "10009".

Upon ensuring these settings are correctly entered, press the "Save" Button and attempt to process a test transaction. If you are unable to process the transaction, with the above settings correctly entered, please refer to the Configuring PAX Terminal article.
