Overview
Most recent versions of QuickBooks Point of Sale are compatible with our software.
Below is a list of requirements compatible software must meet:
1. Must be the Point of Sale version of QuickBooks
QuickBooks Point of Sale has a few different product names (Basic, Pro, Multi-Store, etc.), as well as a few different versions (both numeric and year-based).
These products are all versions of the same QuickBooks Desktop product, with some added features here-and-there. The easiest method of determining if your version of QuickBooks is compatible is by comparing your home screen to the attached screenshot - if your interface looks similar, you're probably compatible.
Note that the following products are not compatible with this integration: QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Point of Sale for iPad (see our compatibility notes below).

2. Must be version 12 or newer
Our integration is only supported on QuickBooks POS version 12 and newer. Older versions do not support the library we use (QBFC) to communicate with QuickBooks. In addition, it is outside of QuickBook's support window, and may lead you to PCI compliance issues. If you are running an older version of QuickBooks POS, it's advised you upgrade to a more recent version.
3 .Must be installed on a compatible device/operating system
