Problem

The user is receiving an error indicating "insufficient permissions".

Solution

Create a user role in Quickbooks with the permissions listed below:

View Only

  • Class List
  • Customer Message List
  • Customer Type List
  • Job Type List
  • Payment Method List
  • Ship Via List
  • Terms List
  • Item List
  • Sales Code Tax List

View, Create, Modify

  • Deposits
  • Invoices
  • Receive Payments
  • Sales Receipts
  • Statement Charges

View, Create, Modify, View Balance

  • Customer Center
