Minimum Hardware Requirements
Our software is compatible with most workstations capable of running QuickBooks.
Therefore, please refer to Intuit's documentation for your compatible version of QuickBooks.
Operating Systems
Microsoft Windows
We support any version of Windows (both desktop/server) which is PCI compliant (i.e. receiving security updates from Microsoft).
Supported Desktop Operating Systems
At time of writing, this includes the following desktop versions:
- Windows 10*
- Windows 11
* Windows 10 versions can upgraded to the latest version for free via Windows Update.
To check what Windows 10 version you're on, open the start menu, type About this PC, and check the Version field.
Supported Server Operating Systems
Windows Server administrators, please check your Microsoft SLA/license agreement for End of Support dates, or use Microsoft's lifecycle lookup utility.
We are not responsible for verifying operating system compatibility/compliance for private server installations.
Apple macOS
We are not directly compatible with computers running macOS, as all QuickBooks for Mac products do not have any interface for programs to access the company file - therefore, our integration will not function on these versions of QuickBooks.
However, many merchants will use a Windows virtualization environment, such as Boot Camp, Parallels, VirtualBox, VMWare Workstation, or other virtualization utilities to run a Windows environment on their Mac. A Windows Desktop version of QuickBooks can be installed into this environment, as well as our integration, and has been used by Mac-based merchants in the past. This virtualized environment would need to be in line with the Windows compatibility requirements above.
