NOTE: Settings on this screen require the Email Payment System add-on on your integration account.
Overview
When using the Email Payments add-on, the emails your customers receive are formatted depending on the email settings stored in Verosa Desktop. Settings on this page control these emails, and their content.
Macros
A variety of macros can be used to pull information from the invoice, transaction, or QuickBooks company file, when generating emailed invoices for customers.
To insert one of these macros, click in the desired position and Right Click, and select one of the options from the menu that appears. Macros are surrounded by curly brackets, and look like this: {CompanyName}
Options/Fields
Email Addresses
You can customize the default recipient email address for the To and CC fields. The To and CC fields can be set to the following options:
- Customer Email Address from QuickBooks - the email address stored for this customer in the main email address field in the Customer Center in QuickBooks
- Customer CC Address from QuickBooks - the email address stored for this customer in the alternate/CC email address field in the Customer Center in QuickBooks
Subject
Customizes the subject displayed on the email invoice. Note that this does not change any of the invoice content - rather, this only changes the email your customers receive.
Email Message
Customizes the content of the email that the customer receives in their inbox. This does not change the content of the online invoice - only the information the customer receives in their email.
